The committed leadership led to the Rudisa Group, a prominent business entity in Suriname, known for its production and distribution of soft drinks. The company has become a household name in Suriname and neighboring countries, contributing to economic growth and job creation, thereby enhancing the region's overall development.
Warsha Sardjoe, his daughter, mentioned the figure of at least 500 million USD (2009) in the context of discussing the success and scale of the Rudisa Group's operations.

The Politician
Dilip Sardjoe, best known as a renowned businessman, has also played an important part in Suriname's political environment. It was through his commercial enterprise, that he realized the impact policies made on national prosperity building. Utilizing his position as the leader of the Rudisa Group, Sardjoe has used his practical approach to positively impact political events and legislation in Suriname. What he achieved through this was weaving threads of unity between the administration, the institutions and the citizens.
Sardjoe was the treasurer and long-time patron of the Verenigde Hindoestaanse Partij (VHP). However, he quit the party in 1994. He created the Basispartij voor Vernieuwing en Democratie (BVD) with several other dissidents and rose to the position of party chairman. The BVD worked well with the Nationale Democratische Partij (NDP) of former ruler Desi Bouterse. He aided the government of his party colleague, Jules Wijdenbosch.
