By joining the Global Indian Network and paying the applicable membership fee, the Member agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
1. Membership Fee
Annual Membership is charged as per tier on yearly basis, payable in advance.
Membership becomes active upon receipt of payment and remains valid for a period of twelve (12) months.
Membership fees are non-refundable (Check more at Refund and Cancellation).
GIN reserves the right to amend membership pricing for future membership periods.
2. Purpose of Membership
The Global Indian Network exists to connect influential individuals, businesses, investors, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders across the global Indian and international ecosystem.
Membership may include access to:
- Strategic introductions
- Business networking opportunities
- International visibility
- Podcasts and media opportunities
- Thought leadership features
- Market intelligence
- Private briefings
- Roundtables and discussions
- Community engagement opportunities
- Partner benefits and offers
Membership does not guarantee business opportunities, investments, introductions, contracts, funding, partnerships, media coverage, or specific commercial outcomes.
3. Membership Badge & Logo Usage
Members in good standing may describe themselves as:
"Accredited Member of the Global Indian Network" or "Corporate Member of the Global Indian Network" for the duration of their active membership.
Members may display the official Global Indian Network Membership Badge and approved branding on:
- Corporate websites
- Email signatures
- Marketing materials
- Company brochures
- Presentation decks
- Press releases
- Social media profiles
- Office signage
provided such use complies with GIN brand guidelines.
Restrictions
Members may not:
- Modify, distort, recolour, or alter the logo without written approval.
- Represent themselves as owners, employees, directors, or official representatives of GIN.
- Use the GIN logo in a manner that implies endorsement of a specific product, service, investment, political position, or commercial offering without written approval.
- Continue using GIN branding after membership has expired, been suspended, or terminated.
Revocation of Rights
The right to use GIN branding is conditional upon maintaining an active membership in good standing.
Upon expiration or termination of membership, members must remove all GIN branding from websites, email signatures, marketing materials, social media profiles, and corporate literature within thirty (30) days.
The Global Indian Network name, logos, trademarks, publications, podcast formats, content, and intellectual property remain the exclusive property of GIN.
4. Strategic Introductions
A core benefit of membership is access to strategic introductions facilitated by GIN.
Introductions may be made to:
- Governments
- Ministers and policymakers
- Investors
- Family offices
- Corporates
- Professional service firms
- Entrepreneurs
- Industry leaders
- International partners
All introductions are made at the sole discretion of GIN and based on suitability, relevance, and availability.
GIN is not responsible for the actions, conduct, performance, or outcomes arising from any introduction.
5. Commercial Participation Framework
Where a business opportunity arises directly or indirectly through:
- A GIN introduction
- A GIN event
- A GIN delegation
- A GIN podcast appearance
- A GIN meeting
- A GIN referral
- A GIN strategic connection
- A GIN facilitated relationship
- Any relationship established through the GIN ecosystem
GIN shall be entitled to participate commercially in the resulting opportunity.
The minimum commercial participation shall be 10% of revenues, fees, commissions, retainers, advisory mandates, sponsorships, investments, consulting engagements, referral fees, facilitation fees, or other commercial consideration generated.
6. Deal-by-Deal Commercial Agreements
The exact commercial structure applicable to any opportunity shall be agreed separately on a deal-by-deal basis.
The minimum participation payable to GIN, whatever it would be, shall be agreed in writing.
Certain opportunities may attract higher participation percentages depending upon:
- Complexity of engagement
- Strategic value
- Geographic scope
- Level of involvement by GIN
- Time commitment
- Relationship development effort
- Advisory support provided
7. Lifetime Participation
Where a commercial relationship originates through a GIN introduction, event, referral, meeting, delegation, media engagement, or ecosystem connection, GIN's commercial participation rights shall continue for the lifetime of that relationship.
This includes:
- Contract renewals
- Extensions
- Additional projects
- Follow-on mandates
- Repeat engagements
- Group company engagements
- Subsidiary engagements
- Joint ventures
- Investment rounds
- Future transactions arising from the original relationship
The parties acknowledge that the value of the Network lies in the creation of trusted long-term relationships and trusted access, not solely in the initial introduction.
8. Disclosure Obligations
Members agree to promptly notify GIN of:
- Commercial discussions
- Business opportunities
- Mandates
- Investments
- Contracts
- Partnerships
- Sponsorships
- Referrals
arising from GIN introductions or ecosystem relationships.
Members agree to provide sufficient information to enable accurate calculation of any applicable commercial participation.
9. Non-Circumvention
Members agree not to circumvent GIN by:
- Engaging introduced parties without disclosure
- Using intermediary entities to avoid participation fees
- Structuring transactions to avoid agreed commercial arrangements
- Transferring opportunities to related parties to avoid obligations
Where circumvention is identified, GIN reserves the right to recover all unpaid fees together with any reasonable legal and enforcement costs.
10. Events, Summits & Delegations
Membership does not automatically include entry to all events.
Certain conferences, roundtables, private dinners, international delegations, summits, retreats, and networking events may carry separate participation fees.
Where applicable:
- Event tickets shall be charged separately.
- Travel and accommodation costs remain the responsibility of the participant unless otherwise stated.
- Event fees are generally non-refundable unless expressly stated otherwise.
Members may receive preferred pricing, early access, or priority invitations to selected events.
11. Content & Media Rights
Members participating in interviews, podcasts, articles, videos, events, or other GIN activities grant GIN the right to:
- Record
- Edit
- Publish
- Distribute
- Promote
such content across GIN platforms, publications, media channels, and partner networks.
Members retain ownership of their underlying intellectual property.
GIN retains ownership of all content created, produced, edited, or distributed by the Network.
12. Confidentiality
Members agree to maintain the confidentiality of:
- Private introductions
- Member information
- Commercial discussions
- Strategic opportunities
- Market intelligence
- Private events and briefings
unless disclosure has been expressly authorised.
13. Membership Conduct
GIN reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership where a member:
- Acts dishonestly
- Damages the reputation of the Network
- Breaches confidentiality
- Engages in unlawful activity
- Acts contrary to the values and purpose of the Network
Termination of membership shall not remove any existing commercial obligations owed to GIN.
14. Limitation of Liability
GIN acts as a connector, facilitator, publisher, and ecosystem builder.
GIN shall not be liable for:
- Commercial losses
- Lost opportunities
- Investment outcomes
- Third-party actions
- Business disputes between members
Members undertake their own due diligence before entering into any transaction.
15. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
By becoming a member of the Global Indian Network, the Member confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Membership Terms & Conditions, including the Commercial Participation Framework, Lifetime Participation Rights, and Non-Circumvention provisions.
