By joining the Global Indian Network ("GIN") and paying the applicable membership or partnership fee, the Member or Partner agrees to be bound by these Membership Terms & Conditions.
1. Membership Fees
Membership and Partnership fees are payable in advance and are charged according to the applicable membership category.
Membership becomes active upon receipt of payment and remains valid for twelve (12) months unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Membership fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly agreed by GIN in writing.
GIN reserves the right to amend pricing for future membership periods.
Membership may be cancelled at any time by the Member. Cancellation shall prevent future renewals but shall not entitle the Member to a refund of fees already paid.
2. Membership Categories
The Global Indian Network offers a number of membership and partnership categories. The scope of benefits, level of engagement, and commercial arrangements applicable to each category differ.

Country Partnership
Designed for governments, investment promotion agencies, tourism authorities and national organisations seeking:

GIN reserves the right to determine the most appropriate membership category for any applicant and may recommend an alternative membership category or bespoke engagement where a Member's objectives extend beyond the intended scope of their existing membership.
3. Membership Benefits
Benefits vary according to membership category and may continue to evolve as the Network grows.
Depending upon the applicable membership level, benefits may include:

- Podcasts and interview opportunities
- Thought leadership opportunities
- Member spotlight articles and profiles
- Business visibility opportunities
- Access to selected market intelligence
- Strategic introductions
- Relationship development support
- Business development support where appropriate
- Investor engagement support where appropriate
- Government engagement support where appropriate
- Stakeholder engagement where appropriate
- Access to selected partner benefits
- Community initiatives
- International collaboration opportunities
GIN is committed to creating meaningful opportunities, relationships, and connections for its Members wherever possible.
The Network actively seeks to facilitate introductions, encourage collaboration, and help Members engage with individuals, organisations, institutions, investors, governments, and business leaders across its international ecosystem.
The value derived from Membership will naturally depend upon a range of factors, including the Member's objectives, level of participation, the availability of relevant opportunities, and the willingness of third parties to engage.
Whilst GIN will use reasonable endeavours to support its Members and deliver the benefits associated with each membership category, it cannot promise or warrant any particular commercial, financial, governmental, investment, media, or business outcome.
GIN reserves the right to enhance, amend, replace or expand Membership benefits from time to time as the Network develops.
4. Branding & Membership Status
Members may use the appropriate GIN membership designation applicable to their membership category throughout their active membership.
Corporate Members, Institutional Partners and Country Partners may use approved GIN branding in accordance with published brand guidelines.
Members may not:
- Alter or misuse GIN branding
- Represent themselves as employees, directors, agents or official representatives of GIN unless authorised in writing
- Suggest GIN's endorsement of a specific product, investment, service or political position without written approval
Upon termination or expiry of Membership, all branding rights immediately cease.
The Global Indian Network name, logos, trademarks, publications, podcast formats, methodologies, content and intellectual property remain the exclusive property of GIN.
5. Strategic Introductions
One of the principal purposes of GIN is to create trusted introductions and meaningful relationships across its international ecosystem.
Where appropriate, GIN may facilitate introductions, referrals, meetings, networking opportunities, strategic connections and collaborative opportunities between Members and third parties.
Introductions are made at GIN's discretion based upon relevance, suitability, strategic alignment, timing and availability.
GIN will use reasonable endeavours to facilitate valuable relationships but cannot control or guarantee the actions, decisions or commercial outcomes of third parties.
6. Relationship Development & Member Support
Where appropriate, GIN may assist Members through:
- Relationship development
- Business development support
- Networking facilitation
- Investor engagement support
- Government engagement support
- Market access support
- Partnership development
- Sponsorship introductions
- Opportunity identification
- International relationship building
The level of support provided will vary according to:
- Membership category
- Strategic alignment
- Availability of resources
- Geographic considerations
- The nature and potential of the opportunity
Where a Member requests services beyond the intended scope of their Membership, GIN reserves the right to:
- Recommend an upgrade to another Membership category
- Offer a bespoke partnership package
- Enter into a separate commercial agreement
- Charge additional fees for the requested services
The determination of whether a request falls within the scope of a Membership category shall be made solely by GIN.
7. Commercial Opportunities
Where introductions, meetings, referrals, events, delegations, media opportunities or strategic relationships facilitated by GIN give rise to commercial opportunities, GIN reserves the right to propose a separate commercial arrangement.
Commercial arrangements may include:
- Referral fees
- Success fees
- Advisory fees
- Facilitation fees
- Commissions
- Revenue sharing
- Sponsorship arrangements
- Equity participation
- Retainers
or any other form of commercial consideration.
The commercial terms applicable to each opportunity shall be agreed separately in writing on a case-by-case basis.
Members acknowledge that Corporate Membership, Institutional Partnership and Country Partnership may involve strategic support, relationship development and commercial engagement beyond standard membership benefits and may therefore be subject to additional commercial agreements.
No commission, fee or commercial participation shall become payable unless agreed in writing.
8. Non-Circumvention
Where a commercial arrangement has been agreed, Members agree not to deliberately circumvent GIN by using intermediary parties, affiliates, subsidiaries or alternative structures for the purpose of avoiding agreed commercial obligations.
GIN reserves the right to recover unpaid fees together with reasonable legal, administrative and enforcement costs where such obligations have been agreed in writing.
9. Events
Membership does not automatically include attendance at every GIN event.
Certain conferences, summits, delegations, private dinners, retreats, roundtables and networking programmes may attract separate participation fees.
Members may receive priority invitations, preferential pricing or early access depending upon their Membership category.
Travel and accommodation remain the responsibility of the participant unless otherwise agreed.
10. Content & Media Rights
Members participating in podcasts, interviews, articles, videos, events or other GIN activities grant GIN the right to record, edit, publish, distribute and promote such content across GIN platforms and partner networks.
Members retain ownership of their underlying intellectual property.
GIN retains ownership of all content created, produced or published by or on behalf of GIN.
GIN reserves editorial discretion over all published material.
11. Confidentiality
Members agree to maintain the confidentiality of:
- Private introductions
- Commercial discussions
- Strategic opportunities
- Member information
- Market intelligence
- Private events and briefings
unless disclosure has been authorised or is required by law.
12. Membership Conduct
GIN reserves the right to suspend or terminate Membership where a Member:
- Acts dishonestly
- Damages the reputation of GIN
- Breaches confidentiality
- Engages in unlawful conduct
- Misuses GIN branding
- Acts contrary to the values, mission or objectives of GIN
Termination shall not affect any existing contractual or commercial obligations.
13. Limitation of Liability
GIN acts as a connector, facilitator, publisher and ecosystem builder.
Members remain responsible for conducting their own due diligence before entering into any commercial relationship.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GIN shall not be liable for commercial losses, investment outcomes, lost opportunities, third-party actions or business disputes.
14. Force Majeure
GIN shall not be liable for delays or failures arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, governmental action, labour disputes, pandemics, war, terrorism, internet failures or technology disruption.
15. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any dispute arising from these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
By purchasing or renewing any Global Indian Network Membership or Partnership, the Member confirms that they have read, understood and accepted these Membership Terms & Conditions.
