Rishma Kuldip Singh is the Minister of Economic Affairs, Entrepreneurship, and Technological Innovation. She holds a Master of Business Administration from the Netherlands Business Academy (2013-2017).

Alongside her studies, she was actively involved as a patron of the Saathi Music School and worked for the Office of Educational Information and Study Facilities (BOS), handling procedures for Surinamese students studying abroad

From 2016 to 2018, she served as a coordinator for the SME Fund and later as a senior policy officer and management trainer for the Ministry of Labour. In 2020, she ran for the VHP in the Paramaribo elections and was appointed as Minister of Labour, Employment, and Youth in the Santokhi cabinet.

During the COVID-19 crisis in mid-October 2020, she tested positive for COVID-19 along with four other ministers. In April 2022, she transitioned to her current role in the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Entrepreneurship, and Technological Innovation, passing on her responsibilities at the Department of Labor to Steven Mac Andrew.
