About the Show

As temperatures rise across the UK, a surreal scene unfolds with Baywatch enthusiasts and Londoners struggling to cope with the sweltering heat. Sticky tube rides and irritated glances replace the usually composed demeanour of commuters. Yet, what may seem like an unusual occurrence could escalate into a more concerning reality as crops suffer and water reservoirs face the increased strain, prompting us to confront the impact of climate change.

Rajan Nazran engages in an eye-opening conversation with Chris Desai about the alarming rise in global temperatures and the urgent actions needed to address it. Triggered by Angus Rose’s hunger strike, this parliamentary discussion delves into crucial steps to safeguard our planet.

Chris Desai’s journey with the UOcean Project is nothing short of remarkable, aiming to make our oceans safer and the Earth a better place to live. He embraces his mixed cultural identity and believes in being a global citizen. Unlike many, his priorities are contributing to the greater good from the start rather than waiting to accumulate wealth.

As an art director, Chris sheds light on the detrimental impacts of fast fashion and emphasises the need for collective efforts to heal our planet. Nature may attempt to recover, but we must actively contribute to making the world a better place.

Don’t miss this enlightening conversation that brings us face-to-face with reality and inspires us to take action for a brighter future.
