Pia Sutaria, a Royal Academy of Dance graduate, has performed worldwide with India’s leading Dance Theatre Company, “Navdhara” (USA, Turkey, Israel, Canada, Japan). She excelled as a soloist at prestigious venues like Mumbai’s National Centre for Performing Arts and Royal Opera House while representing brands like Dove, Jockey, Puma, and Nike. Recently, she was awarded a Disney Scholarship to pursue her MA in Musical Theatre Performance at the Royal Academy of Music, London.
Pia’s vision is to bridge the gap in vocational dance training for young artists in India, making ballet accessible to all who aspire to pursue it. In 2018, she founded the “Institute of Classical and Modern Dance,” successfully sending students on scholarships to renowned performing arts institutions in Paris, New York, and London. Currently, Pia serves as the resident Ballet teacher at Shiamak Davar’s Institute.
She is the twin sister of Bollywood actor Tara Sutaria.
