Guest Info

Khushboo Jain Tibrewala is a Nutritionist, Diabetes Educator and Founder of The Health Pantry. Over 13 years in the health industry, Khushboo has worked with thousands of individuals and families. Her core area of interest lies in managing and preventing Type 2 Diabetes and related lifestyle disorders.

She operates on an ideology she calls “unprocess your life” wherein she eliminates the many different modern-day foods and habits, replacing them with healthier alternatives. Her mission is to educate Indians all over the world on disorders like diabetes, which are rising very quickly despite being preventable.

In her efforts to raise awareness, Khushboo has authored two digital books containing information and recipes. The books are freely available for everyone to download and start using.

In her growing years, Khushboo saw the journey of her diabetic grandmother very closely. She saw the power of food – both good and bad. She has been intrigued and obsessed with food and everything it offers. Her work is, thus, very Indian, combining modern science with traditional food wisdom that has been coming to us generation after generation.

Her future work revolves around going into the depth of the subject and finding solutions that are easier (than pills) and more sustainable.

About the Show

Have you ever paused to contemplate the significance of the food that graces your plate? In a world inundated with culinary delights and convenience, Chief Explorer Rajan Nazran delves deep into the heart of this matter in this week’s intriguing episode of the Global Indian Podcast. Joining him is Khushboo Jain Tibrewala, and together, they unravel a fundamental question: Is it wise to heed our flavour preferences blindly?

Food, the cornerstone of our existence, profoundly impacts our well-being. It’s not merely sustenance; it’s a complex interplay of flavours, nutrients, and emotions. Yet, amidst our hectic lives, we often overlook the nuances of what we consume. Unwanted ingredients stealthily find their way into our diets, blurring the line between nourishment and indulgence. The conversation navigates this negligence, shedding light on the health factors sidelined in our culinary choices.

Convenience, it seems, has redefined our relationship with food, overshadowing its primary purpose: to provide essential nutrition. But what we consume extends beyond the physical realm; it influences our mood, shaping our emotional landscape. The podcast delves into this intricate connection, emphasising food’s significant role in our holistic well-being.

In the quest for a healthier society, longevity must be more than just a distant goal; it should be a mindful choice ingrained in our daily lives. The episode implores listeners to reflect on their choices, urging a collective shift towards a conscious and nutritious culinary journey.

Prepare yourself for an eye-opening conversation that challenges the very essence of our food choices. Tune in to gain profound insights and embark on a transformative journey towards mindful eating. Listen and learn, for the shared wisdom might redefine your relationship with the food on your plate.
