Neeraj Tyagi is the Culinary Director at Pullman & Novotel New Delhi Aerocity, where he lives by the motto “Excellence Every Day.” In his exciting role, he oversees the culinary operations of the complex, which includes six top-notch Restaurants and bars – Pluck, Honk, Food Exchange, Pling, Café Pluck, and Quoin. With his passion for creativity and unique touch, he curates and presents innovative dishes, offering guests an exquisite and modern gastronomic experience.

He is a proud alumnus of IHM Meerut, and his skill set is truly impressive. He excels in menu planning and engineering, budgeting and resourcing, vendor management, food safety, hygiene, forecasting, cost control, and quality assurance. His remarkable attention to detail and diligent work ethic have paved the way for numerous accomplishments in the hospitality industry. Drawing from his international market exposure across Europe, Singapore, China, Maldives, and the Middle East, Chef Neeraj loves experimenting with diverse flavours and cooking styles, perfectly catering to the discerning tastes of the modern-day palate.

Chef Neeraj Tyagi’s passion for gastronomy knows no bounds, and he has been fortunate to collaborate closely with some of the world’s most celebrated culinary talents. Among them are renowned chefs and Professional chefs like David Fenstra, known for his pioneering work in Molecular Gastronomy, as well as Frans Dijksman, Dennis Out, Austrian Chef Markus Moser, Spanish Chef Jeorge Acereto, and Chef Andreu Genestra.

Before joining Pullman & Novotel New Delhi Aerocity, Chef Neeraj Tyagi made his mark at various prestigious hotels, showcasing his culinary prowess. Notably, he played a crucial role in transforming the food & beverage offerings at Shangri-La’s – Eros Hotel, New Delhi, and successfully launched five popular outlets. His dedication and expertise were also evident during his tenure at renowned luxury hotels, including the Kempinski Hotel in Jordan, The Claridges Hotels & Resorts in New Delhi, The Welcome Group Marriott in New Delhi, The Grand Hyatt, The Park Royal in New Delhi, and The Amrutha Castle in Hyderabad.

Chef Tyagi’s culinary journey is a tapestry of diverse experiences and remarkable achievements. He honed his skills in Italian cuisine at the renowned Garibaldi Restaurant in Singapore. He delved into the world of German cuisine under the mentorship of Chef Stephan Foucher, along with German Chefs Bernad and Ulli, during his time at Brix (then Grand Hyatt).

Demonstrating his culinary prowess, Chef Neeraj curated a captivating New Indian and Lucknowi food festival at the Hulhule Airport Hotel in the Maldives, spanning an impressive three weeks.

Apart from his exceptional culinary endeavours, Chef Neeraj has also left his mark in the world of media and competitions. He has graced the screens with cookery shows on NDTV and ZEE TV, captivating audiences with his flair and passion for cooking. Furthermore, he has earned several medals in culinary contests in New Delhi and Mumbai, adding to his list of accolades.

His commitment to excellence extends beyond the kitchen, as evidenced by his involvement in achieving ISO 14000 and 22000 certifications for Claridges. This dedication to quality and sustainability sets him apart as a chef with a holistic approach to his craft.
